How to generate QR codes in bulk
Use one row per product, serial number or destination. The column names become reusable placeholders.
- 1
Prepare the CSV
Include descriptive headers such as sku, name, serial, handle and url. Export an Excel or Google Sheets file as UTF-8 CSV.
- 2
Choose a product preset
Use a direct URL column or build consistent registration, manual, product-page or warranty destinations from your columns.
- 3
Export and proof
Download SVG or PNG files with a manifest, then scan representative printed labels before using the full batch.
FLEXIBLE TEMPLATES
One CSV, many product journeys
Registration codes can include a unique serial number. Manual and product-page codes can use a shared SKU or handle. The final manifest makes the mapping auditable for packaging and operations teams.
Use durable destinations you control. If URLs may change later, point the QR code at a stable route on your domain and manage the redirect there.
Already producing packaging inserts? You can also create an individual warranty card or product registration QR label.

GOOD TO KNOW
Bulk QR code generator FAQs
Can I generate QR codes in bulk from Excel?
Yes. Save or export the spreadsheet as a CSV file, then upload it here. The first row must contain column names. You can use those names as placeholders in the destination and label templates.
How many QR codes can I create at once?
This tool supports up to 1,000 CSV rows per batch. A batch of 500 works in modern desktop browsers. PNG conversion takes longer than SVG because every image is rendered locally.
Are my CSV and product URLs uploaded?
No. Parsing, QR generation and ZIP creation happen in your browser. OwnerLoop does not receive the file contents, URLs, serial numbers or labels through this tool.
What do template placeholders mean?
A placeholder such as {sku} inserts the value from the CSV column named sku. Column matching is not case-sensitive. Every required placeholder must have a value on a row or that row is skipped and reported.
What is included in the manifest CSV?
The manifest contains every successfully generated row, the final QR destination, label text and output filename. Duplicate filenames get a numeric suffix so files are not overwritten.
How do I make a printable PDF?
Generate the batch and choose Print labels / save PDF. Your browser opens its print dialog with one label per page; choose Save as PDF or your printer. Proof a physical sample before a production run.
